A couple of lovely blogers have featured my work recently...

The USA based art and indie design blog Paper and Stitch which is edited by a fellow artist Brittni Wood, who creates some very cool paintings and mixed media work exploring social issues surrounding religion and gender issues. Her style fuses both linear graphic images using charcoal and ink with luscious broader stroked abstract painterly mark-making gestures.

White Goods, Stroud House Gallery

The exhibition spread through 5 room with great work all focusing on the idea of white goods, many dealing directly with consumer culture. I photographed the room that contained my work see slide show below. (mine are the pattern paintings on the wall)

Claremont Holet Exhibition, Brighton & Hove

Claremont Hotel is a stylish 5 star Victorian boutique guesthouse just a few steps away from Brighton seafront.

From August to November my work will be included in a group show that uses the entire venue to show work by local Brighton and Hove artists.

There will be a private view on August 31st from 3:00pm to 5:00pm with complementary refreshments, wine and usual private view fare.

White Doll Arts now stocks Robin Clare Cards

A funky little shop in Fowey, South Cornwall now stocks my greeting cards. The shop is a working pottery and sells contemporary ceramic pieces along with other contemporary crafts produced by UK makers.
