My first official outing of the Jamaica Project and Dancing Words series was pretty massive. The Tate Galley in Glebe was an awesome space with one gigantic feature wall for the art and the rest of the space left for gallery goers and gawkers. The opening was packed out and the show made it unto the featured events section in Concrete Playground. Tunes selected by The Large went down a treat... really can't wait to do it all over again.
The photos below were taken just before the show opened. It attracted quite a crowd and I've had to say goodbye to three of the larger works which sold. Good news as it means I'll be able to buy some more paint and get a bit more space in the studio but I'm still a bit sad to see them go. The Rice & Peas Vol 1 zine was also a success with only few copies remaining. I will put them up in my Shop for any interested parties. Keep an ear out for Vol 2 coming in the next few months.
